Amber’s passion for hospitality began at 14, setting the foundation for a career dedicated to creating exceptional experiences. She honed her skills under renowned Executive Chef Ryan McNulty in the U.S., gaining invaluable experience during a six-month tenure. After a brief hiatus to start a family, she returned to the industry, spending 11 years refining her craft under the mentorship of Mike Hos.
In December 2023, Amber became the proud owner of The Catering Company, combining her expertise with a deep passion for delivering memorable culinary experiences. Her commitment to quality and service shines through in every event she curates.
Beyond hospitality, Amber is dedicated to supporting youth sports in the community. She actively helps young athletes at Whanganui City College, whether by funding trips to Nationals or assisting with fees. She also provides employment opportunities for students, offering both financial support and valuable work experience.
